Democrats’ path to victory for the White House and Senate runs through boosting voter turnout among non-traditional voters who are often immune to traditional forms of political messaging, including issue advocacy. In 2018, Progressive Turnout Project used a data-driven, deep canvassing program to boost turnout among infrequent Democratic voters by an average of 10.4%. Social pressure has been shown to be the most effective way to motivate non-voters to participate in the electoral process. This training will cover innovative new social pressure messaging, strategy, and tactics to reach voters in the field and online.
