Training Tag(s): Advanced Online Organizing
Starts: Thursday, Aug. 2 1:00 PM (Central)
Ends: Thursday, Aug. 2 2:15 PM (Central)
Room: R03
In this hands-on training, we’ll show you how to build personalized, high engagement advocacy tools with the Twilio communications platform (the same platform powering communications for Hustle, Relay, Phone2Action, MoveOn.org, the DNC, and many more).
You will embark on a TwilioQuest mission to build an advocacy campaign in real time. Using Twilio Studio visual editor and Airtable, developers and nondevelopers alike will level up their organizing skills and leave prepared to rally people at scale. During your quest, you’ll earn experience points and loot for your accomplishments. Are you ready to embark on your mission?
Charlie Weems is a Partnership Engineer for Twilio.org. Previously, Charlie was a software engineer Code for America where he worked on a Twilio chat application for parole officers. He’s happy to answer any technical questions you have regarding Twilio.
