Elisa Batista is the communications director for Presente.org, the nation’s largest digital Latinx organization with more than 500,000 member-volunteers advancing social justice through technology, media and culture. She is currently writing a book with Presente executive director Matt Nelson provisionally titled, ¡Viva Latinx! How Organizing Power Wins (Routledge Press, 2018). She assists the organization in branding efforts, fielding press inquiries, drafting editorial pieces and e-mail outreaches to members, and communications messaging and strategies.
Many of you are asking about Netroots Nation 2021 plans. We’re happy to report that #NN21 WILL happen, but we haven’t yet announced our plans for dates and format. As we keep a close eye on the latest COVID-19 developments and weigh our options, know that we are doing so to ensure that NN21 is safe and accessible for as many people as possible.
