You have social media problems; we have social media answers (hopefully.) We’ll spend the hour brainstorming answers to common social media questions, from content framing to Facebook management to engagement strategies. Everyone will help each other fix their social media conundrums.
Joseph Lamour is a curator at Upworthy, where you’ll find him doing the Internet equivalent of making meaningful content shiny so you stop looking at cat GIFs, dog GIFs, and the correct way to pronounce “GIF.” He’s passionate about feminism, LGTBQIA rights, racial issues, and animal cruelty, but really he’s into other important issues if they make him cry, applaud, or flail his arms like Kermit the Frog.
Other sessions: You still can't make anything go viral—but good content can!
I get paid to find snarky things that matter from the interwebs and share them with you. I think that is awesome. I also think the media needs to remember how to do its job. And that Jon Stewart is some sort of oracle. You can find me on Twitter, subscribe to my stuff on Facebook, and read my long winded ranting on Quora.
