Michael has worked on successfully flipping the Michigan Supreme Court, preserving Reproductive Freedom for All in Michigan, national independent expenditures supporting Biden and Democratic Senate candidates, and state caucus programs targeting at-risk legislative races in his past five years with Change Media. Prior to that, Michael served as a campaign manager for two successful statewide campaigns for the University of Michigan Regents and the Michigan Supreme Court, and he ran public media relations for Macomb County, Michigan. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with degrees in Philosophy and Political Science.
