Megan Dorward is a Senior Account Executive on Twitter's Politics and Advocacy team in Washington, DC. In this role, Megan works with political groups, candidates, coalitions, trade associations, and government entities to guide their social strategy and share ways to include Twitter's Promoted Products in their paid messaging. Megan has worked in political and advocacy media in Washington for five years, previously with Politico and National Journal. Prior to moving to DC, Megan worked as media planner at Starcom MediaVest Group in New York. She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and a proud alumna, staying involved with the College through her work on the Annual Giving Board of Directors. Megan hails from Newtown, Pennsylvania, and in her free time, she volunteers with the Junior League of Washington, sails with DCSail, and is a lifelong student at the Washington School of Ballet.
