Dennis Hughes is a Staff Representative for AFSCME Council 40 in Wisconsin and has been fighting Scott Walker's attack on labor since the Spring 2011 protests in Madison. Dennis served as field organizer on the Walker recall, Regional Field Director and deputy field director of Michigan's 2012 Prop 2 campaign for a constitutional right to collective bargaining, OFA's statewide immigration reform organizer in Wisconsin, and, most recently, Take Back America political organizer for AFSCME covering Eastern Wisconsin. Dennis is a proud graduate of Marquette Law School, the University of Notre Dame, and Ilya Sheyman's campaign for Congress. He is also an alum and board member of the New Leaders Council - Chicago. Dennis recently got engaged to the love of his life, sorry ladies (and gentlemen).
