We couldn’t pull this event off every year without the help and input of the community. From helping curate panels to volunteering on-site, there are lots of ways to get involved in the Netroots Nation planning process.
Local to Philly? Serve on our 2019 host committee! Each year we rely on input from local activists and organizations to help us pinpoint issues to highlight, plan service projects or direct actions, do community outreach and navigate logistical concerns.
Panel Selection Committees
Did you know that the community helps choose our panels each year? Proposals are broken up by issue area or topic and reviewed by small committees of community members. Want to help us with that process (scoring will happen in early spring)? Sign up here!
Accessibility Working Group
We want to make sure that the convention and associated events are accessible for all attendees. We’d love your help in identifying potential issues and obstacles and brainstorming possible solutions. Click here to join our Accessibility Working Group.
Volunteering at Netroots Nation is a great way to meet other attendees—plus it’s a ton of fun! Volunteers help with a variety of tasks on-site, including staffing the registration desk, helping with set-up, and stuffing registration bags. Check back soon for more information on volunteering at NN19.
