Erica hails from North Carolina via Massachusetts. Erica's lifelong commitment to the anti-sexual and domestic violence movement, reproductive justice, and anti-oppression advocacy and activism began in high school. She is also experienced in budgetary and financial management, messaging, campaigns, grassroots organizing, nonprofit electoral activity, and other activities to make sure nonprofits and individuals follow regulations to stay out of jail, as she likes to describe it. Erica is from the Lenape Tribe, and she is also multilingual. Erica is deeply dedicated to empowerment and involvement of Native Nations in the political process and civic engagement, and she serves on the boards of the American Indian Women of Proud Nations, Native American Alumni of Harvard University, and the Carolina Native Alumni Club of UNC-Chapel Hill.
