Netroots Nation Los Angeles: Civil Rights 2.0

In the Obama era, where politics intertwines with technology, how are traditional groups bridging the gap to recruit and lead a new generation of activists online? Join Netroots Nation, the California NAACP Youth & College Division and the New Leaders Council Los Angeles Chapter for a conversation with NAACP Youth & College Division National Director Stefanie Brown and the California NAACP Youth & College Division President Sean Dugar. On the eve of the organization celebrating its 100 years of creating change and working to advance civil rights, how will it shift gears to continue to meet the issues and challenges of the 21st century? Cheryl Contee of Jack & Jill Politics will moderate. A coffee and dessert reception will follow.
