Need a little help getting to Netroots Nation? No problem! We have several programs designed to make sure that price is never a barrier for attendance.

Blue Nation Review Scholarships
Our friends at Blue Nation Review have ponied up to send 100 activists to Netroots Nation for free. BNR hopes to bring in as many youth organizers, immigration activists and locals (including those from Arizona’s Native American communities) as possible.

These scholarships include one complimentary pass to attend (you are responsible for hotel and/or travel costs). This is a great option for our friends across Arizona who’d like to attend.

Democracy for America Scholarships
And to help more people get to Phoenix, we’re once again partnering again with Democracy for America to offer scholarships to deserving activists, organizers and bloggers from across the country who might not have the resources to attend otherwise.

This scholarship program is open to anyone who applies. DFA asks about your story, why it’s important that you attend, and some other fun questions. And, each applicant has an opportunity to ask their friends for support via social media. Like DFA, it’s a people-powered program driven by online activism.

The five applicants with the most votes overall will automatically win a scholarship covering the cost of registration and lodging. The remaining 25 spots will be chosen based on their personal stories and activism. The competition ends May 11 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
