Doug Foote is the Social Media and Campaign Specialist at Working America. He joined Working America in 2011 after serving as New Media Director for the successful 2010 reelection campaign of Senator Patty Murray (D-WA).
Doug got his start in online politics at Blue State Digital, American Rights at Work, and Carol Shea-Porter for Congress. He has lead trainings and spoken about social media’s role in campaigns and labor advocacy for the AFL-CIO, AFT, AFGE, as well as the New Organizing Institute’s Bootcamps. Doug hails from Lexington, MA and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University.
