David Nir is Political Director of Daily Kos. David is responsible for the site’s elections coverage, polling operations, race ratings, and candidate endorsements. Prior to joining the full-time staff at Daily Kos in 2011, David ran the Swing State Project, a blog focused on elections, under the pseudonym DavidNYC. He also practiced patent litigation. David, born in 1977, is a lifelong New Yorker, Democrat, and Mets fan.
