Nolan Treadway is logistics director for Netroots Nation. Treadway went from Daily Kos lurker to convention organizer in March 2005 when the call went out for people with experience in planning conventions. Having spent four years in the Bay Area working in convention sales, he had the right mix of experience and naïvety to help plan the first two conventions as a volunteer. Treadway received his bachelor’s degree in business from Michigan State University and earned a master’s in public policy from the American University School of Public Affairs in Washington, DC.

Cheryl Contee, Partner at Fission Strategy, specializes in helping non-profit organizations and foundations use social media for social good. She is also the co-founder of JackandJillPolitics.com writing as Jill Tubman on one of the top 10 black blogs online, She has over 13 years of award-winning interactive expertise and previously served as lead digital strategist for Fleishman-Hillard for the West Coast in San Francisco. John Aravosis is a DC-based writer and political strategist, and the editor of AMERICAblog.com. Since 1995, John has been one of the nation’s top political Internet experts.
