Worse, have you ever had to participate in an online training (any online training)? As distance training becomes easier to do technologically, more people struggle with ways to keep online presentations engaging, interactive and impactful. Join this session to learn about Obama for America’s 10 tips for executing awesome trainings, and how we’ve adjusted our ten offline tips so that they translate to online presentations. We’ll cover concrete tactics you can use to keep your participants awake, specific online tools that are most amenable to those tactics and most commonly committed errors. You’ll leave ready to webinar the heck out of your organization or fellow organizers.

Sara El-Amine
Sara is the National Director of Training at Obama for America. El-Amine has risen through the ranks within the Obama movement over the last five years and is the youngest female national director on the campaign.
As the National Director of Training at the Obama campaign headquarters in Chicago, Sara oversees training and campaign curriculum development for staff, volunteer leaders, volunteers, and the fellow/intern training programs in all 50 states. She manages a team of 12 state-wide training directors in battleground states throughout the nation, and 2 headquarters trainers in Chicago. The department she leads is the first Training Department in Presidential campaign history, and its genesis was prompted out of Obama for America’s commitment to training local citizens to be grassroots organizers.
Sara’s family is proudly Arab-American, and she is the big sister of four fantastic younger siblings. She loves making art and running in her free time.
