Netroots Nation 2013 will be held in the San Jose Convention Center. Some events may be held in the San Jose Marriott, Hilton and surrounding establishments.

Airports
The most direct way to get to NN13 is to use the San Jose International Airport (SJC), located just 5 miles from the convention center. The larger Bay Area is served by two additional airports: San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). They are located 37 miles and 40 miles from the convention center respectively. If you utilize these airports, you would need to arrange ground transportation or take advantage of one of the area’s many public transit systems.

Public Transit
The Bay Area is served by a number of public transit systems which can be utilized by local attendees and out of town travelers.

If you’re traveling from SFO or OAK and wish to take public transit to San Jose,  you’ll need to use a combination of BART, Caltrain and VTA. We recommend using the Google Maps public transit planner feature if you’re not familiar with the area.

If you’re arriving at SJC airport you can simply take the VTA system from the San Jose Airport station to the Convention Center station downtown.
