Netroots Foundation partners with The PPL in Charlotte, NC!

Netroots Foundation is excited to announce a partnership with The PPL (pronounced “The People”) at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC, September 3–6, 2012.

Building on our success helping produce the Big Tent Denver in 2008, this will be THE gathering place for bloggers and online organizers in Charlotte. The PPL will include workspace, wifi, tech checks and recharging stations, plus a stage with live programming and a progressive content studio headed up by Democracy for America.

Move info on the programming that will be included:

The PPL’s main stage content, overseen by The PPL’s stage programming lead Candice Langston, is being organized around the four legacy items of the DNCC: healthy children/healthy families, youth employment and civic engagement,  building a broader, more inclusive society, and  energy/tech/sustainability. Democracy for America will also host a special broadcast studio that will be the hub for creating and distributing content about progressive strategy for 2012 and beyond. This content will be streamed at NetrootsNation.org and online, as well as shared with partner organizations around the country.

If you’re traveling to Charlotte, make sure to join us at The PPL! Credentials are currently $85 for the week.
